CLASSES
Basic Italian II: continuation of the basic Italian course taught in the fall semester. Taught by Monica, a native Italian with a wild personality.
Italian Life and Culture: as the title implies, this course explored what it meant to live and take part in Italian culture. Classes were held only once a week, and were either lectures or trips throughout the city (such as to art museums with the German art guide Angela).
Modern Italy: the first of the two classes taught by the Mount professor; students studied Italy over the past few centuries.
Modern Mediterranean World: the second class taught by the Mount professor; students studied the countries and cultures of the Mediterranean world. A semester project (paper) allowed for students to explore the modern Mediterranean world in regards to their own particular interests/major.
